Council, in conjunction with Business Victoria and the University of Ballarat,
is conducting a series of workshops to assist local businesses in preparing
The TenderWrite workshops are designed to help small to medium
organisations win new business through local and state government and
other public and private tenders.
The workshops will start in August and will run through until December.
The workshops are an outcome of Council’s Economic Strategy. The Strategy
identified that local businesses need to be skilled up to be able to compete
in this growth sector. With businesses submitting for tenders across state and
national borders, it is important that Ballarat businesses have the knowledge
and skills to win their fair share of this competitive market.
The first workshop topic will be “Winning Local Government Tenders” to be
presented in the Trench Room at the Town Hall, 4.30 – 6pm on Thursday
18 August. The workshop is free to attend, however bookings are required
for catering purposes.
Subsequent workshop topics will include:
• How to Write a Tender – practical “hands on” tender writing workshop
• Winning Business from State Government
