Dial Before You Dig
Dial Before You Dig is a national not-for-profit organisation which represents
the various companies that own the pipes and cables that run underground
and provide our utilities. Dial Before You Dig offers a referral ser vice for
information on locating underground utilities anywhere in Australia.
This provides a consistent and national approach to providing information on
underground utility ser vices. The ser vice is free and should be used by anyone
undertaking works that require digging or removal of earth, whether you are
landscaping your backyard or undertaking heavy excavation works.
Council is now a member of Dial Before You Dig which means that
any information Council has regarding its underground electrical and
drainage assets can be made available through the Dial Before You
Dig ser vice.
Anyone wishing to know if Council has underground electrical or drainage
assets on a road reserve, public land under Council management or Council
owned land, can take advantage of this convenient referral ser vice.
HOW DO I CONTACT DIAL BEFORE YOU DIG?
Telephone 1100 (free call)
Fax your inquiry to 1300 652 077
