• Traffic along Lyons Street from both directions will be unable to cross
• All traffic along Sturt Street for the duration of the ser vice will be slowed
Pedestrian access to shops and ser vices is available at all times during these
altered traffic conditions.
All road users are reminded to approach the area with caution and follow the
direction of marshals and police at all times.

Film launch tackles the perceptions of homelessness in Ballarat.
Presented by City of Ballarat Youth Services, Lead On and the Invisible
The film is produced by local young people and directed by Lead On Project
Officer Emily Macdonald. It investigates the issue of homelessness from the
viewpoint of people working in the social welfare industr y, touches on individual
stories and explores some of the contributing factors involved.
The launch features addresses by the filmmakers, industry experts and members
of the local community interest group, Invisible.
The event offers guests the opportunity to be educated on the depth of the
issue of homelessness, the City of Ballarat’s current measures to assist with
the issue and how individuals can support positive change.
